Hi! I've made maaaany cards this week and it looks like these will be the final two for two different challenges. I have formed an obsession to certain challenges -the ones that I really really like I would not want to miss... I missed last week's challenge at
Muse Card Club and I'm happy I now had time to take part again -t's so much fun! This week's muse is
Marion Vagg with her colorful card with washi tape. I loved the colors and horizontal stripes but decided to go to for different style, I tried to create a more vintage look. Somebody could say that vintage and bright colors can't go together but I wanted to try anyway! Here's the card:
"Ystävälle" is Finnish language and means "For A Friend". The ballerinas look a bit weird floating there but my original plan, putting flowers in the corner, didn't work any better, I couldn't find flowers that I liked... Well, you can't get it right always can you. :) I'm not super happy with the card but I do like the stripes a lot, thanks
Marion for inspiration!
My second card is for
Less Is More Challenge, the theme for this week is "Up In The Air". I think the balloon fits to that category... And the bunny looks like he is jumping up to the air as well! I paper pieced the balloon with the same paper that I used for matting. The image is colored with Copics and I also used some white gel pen for the icing of the cake + glitter glue for the cake's wrapping and the flame of the candle.
That's it from me now, I hope you liked these cards, please let me know what you think. Have a fun weekend -I'm off to a skiing weekend at my in-laws. Thanks for popping by!
