Erityiselle Ystävälle / For Someone Special

Tässä korttini, jonka teossa yhdistin kaksi haastetta: luonnos on CAS(E) this Sketch! haasteesta ja aihe on CAS-ual Fridays blogista, jossa inspiroidutaan tällä viikolla rakkauslaulusta. Minun suosikkiartistini on Adele ja rakastan hänen "Someone Like You"-hittiään, en kyllästy siihen varmaan ikinä... Tuo laulu lienee olla tehty jollekin hyvin spesiaalille tyypille ja siitä lähti ajatus käyttää noita askartelulehden kylkiäisenä tulleita ompeluaiheisia leimasimia "SEW Special"-tekstineen. Someone Like You:n menestys myös nosti Adelen ennennäkemättömään suosioon ja olen ymmärtänyt tällä biisillä olevan erityisasema myös hänen sydämessään. Olkoon tämä kortti nyt sitten vaikka Adelen kunniaksi, ihana tyttö, mikä ääni ja karisma!

Jos olet vieraillut blogissani parin viime päivän aikana, olet ehkä huomannut taustojen ja mallin vaihtumisen tiuhaan tahtiin -testailen vähän uusia ulkoasuja ja en näemmä millään tule tyytyväiseksi. Älä siis säikähdä, jos täällä taas huomenna näyttää erilaiselta! :) Huomenna starttaamme muuten uuden Digi Sketch haasteen kanssa -piipahdathan blogiini lukemaan haasteesta lisää. Here's my card for two challenges: the layout comes from CAS(E) this Sketch! and I was inspired by the love song theme at CAS-ual Fridays. The song I chose is by Adele, my favorite artist... I'm pretty sure that the song "Someone Like You" is written for someone special and that gave me the idea to use these magazine freebie-stamps with the text "SEW Special". I've also understood that "Someone Like You" is a very special piece for Adele herself -with that song she rose to the superstar fame she is now enjoying. I also think that Adele is very special -what a girl, what a voice, what a charisma! At first I wasn't sure about those stamps in a CAS-card, they are so vintage... But in the end I'm quite happy with the result. The doily stamp is from My Mind's Eye. 

If you have been visiting my blog lately you might have noticed I keep on changing the template and the colors -I started to experiment and now I don't seem to become happy...Don't be startled if the look is different again tomorrow! :) By the way, tomorrow is the day for the first ever Digi Sketch Challenge -I hope you'll pop by for more info.
