Hi guys!
Today we have a new challenge for you at Inkspirational Challenges. It's a fun word prompt: Pop! Our DT along with our talented guest designer Tenia have made very inspirational cards for you, do check them out from the challenge blog for ideas!
My card is heavily inspired by my Ink team mate and real life friend Sandie. She makes the most gorgeous CAS cards and she just used this low right corner layout the other day and I decided I wanted to give it a try. She also often uses a textured, white background... And when I was pondering ideas what to make for "pop" one of her ideas was "pop of color". So not only is my little chickie popping out of that egg, she is the only "pop of color" in my card too" :)
Hope you like and thanks for all the ideas Sandie!
See you guys at Inspirational Challenges.
Love your Sandie inspired design, Nonni! The cute chick really 'pops' against the textured background :)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful how you used the "pop"-cue! And great that background; makes the card even more interesting! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat interpretation of the 'pop'! You've coloured your chick beautifully and the embossed white space enables him to be the star of the card.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for all your kind words and you rocked the challenge. Love the embossed background and this little chick popping out! Happy Friendship day, my very dear friend xx
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! This is so super cute! Love the embossing! Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteACK! Your wee chick, "popping' from his egg, is incredibly charming! You've sparked memories of the many-years ago times spent at my grandparents' farm, where baby chicks and ducklings were plentiful! The embossing folder: perfect added touch! You've channeled your 'inner Sandie' perfectly!

Holy moly, you totally nailed this one Nonni! Doing a double take with a POP of an eggshell and a POP of colour - That's just awesome and well thought off ;)
ReplyDeleteYour CAS card is definitely one to CASE with it's textured background and the image in the lower corner.
What a fun "pop" card! That little chick looks great! Very creative!
