Hi friends!
I'm here to remind you of our current challenge at TIME OUT. We are CASEing the fabulous Tracey from In My Creative Opinion. This is her card:
Stunning, right? I love Tracey's card but have suffered from massive crafter's block lately... That's why you didn't see a DT card from me last week. This week I was determined to make a reminder card and did get a card done yesterday -unfortunately I'm not too happy about the results. It's a combination of two failed cards that I in the end made as one (weird) card. :) I do love white embossing on vellum and the sponged strip on the textured base card though! :) Here's my card:
The flower stamps and dies I used come from Stamping Up and I've got them as a gift from my good friend Sandie. Thanks hon!
I hope to see you playing along at TIME OUT. There's plenty of inspiration from our DT members and guest designer Stempelfrida in the blog. Don't miss their cards!
I think it turned out just gorgeous. The sponging is excellent and those flowers look so delicate, perfect way to combine 2 cards you are not happy with-you should be happy with this!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Sandie, Nonni ... this turned out beautifully! Gorgeous blending and I love how those vellum blooms are peeking out from top of the card ... what a brilliant 'rescue'! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous inking Nonni :) I love the flowers you added off the edge !!
ReplyDeleteOh, you are much too hard on yourself. This is a stunning card--wonderful vellum, embossing and pretty inking and blending.
ReplyDeleteThe same here with no DT-card for TO last week from me, but I see you came up with an original design! Love the colours too! Enjoy the weekend!
ReplyDeleteNice!! Love how you placed some of the flowers off the edge, a great, decorative effect!
ReplyDeleteI think it's very pretty! Love that stripe of color!
ReplyDeleteI know that we're always our own harshest critic but I can't understand why you're not happy with this card - it is so pretty. The blended panel is gorgeous and I love the edge that you created with the vellum flowers - so creative! Jill
