Hi friends!
It's time for a new challenge at Inkspirational. I'm glad to be back joining the DT again after my break for a couple of months! Here's the challenge this time:
Recipe - Use at least 3 of these 4 elements:
Distressing, Flowers, Embossing, Pearls
I chose Flowers, Embossing and Pearls and used a Sheena Douglas stamp I've got for free with a crafting mag. My design is inspired by the cards shown in the magazine: I simply sponged the background with Distress Inks, stamped the image in black and then stamped it again with Versamark and heat embossed with gold powder. The panel is matted on gold card and I added pearls to embellish the flowers. Hope you like! The strip of white card with the sentiment does not please my eye... But I messed up the sentiment I stamped straight to the panel. :)
Please have a look at all the rest of the DT cards (Inkspirational has the most fantastic DT!!) here and I hope to see you playing along.

What a great use of the stamp. I also have this stamp, must remember this :-)

Fabulous sponging and love how you stamped the image twice and added the gold. No mojo lost here!
ReplyDeleteI think your 'simple' sponging is nothing short of gorgeous! A perfect background for your beautiful image, with the added eye-catching touches of gold embossing and pearl. WOW! Love this...

So so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! And a super take of the challenge! Enjoy the sunday!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card, Nonni! So happy to have you back! I love that stamp! What a great freebie! Love your sponged background. It's a really lovely card. :-)
ReplyDeleteSo good to have you back. Beautiful inky background - great colours. We've all done the muck-up-the-sentiment-and-cover-it-up thing, but your in no way distracts from the card - wouldn't have known if you'd not said.
