Hi guys!
We are CASEing (With Your Own Twist!) the fabulous Anita at TIME OUT this fortnight. Anita's card is stunning -I believe she has heat embossed her image with white powder and water colored it. The stamp that Anita used reminded me of some border stamps I got as a gift from my friend Sandie when I visited her (and her stamp stash!) in May -border and the sentiment are both from the same set. Thank you Sandie for these fun stamps! I decided to just stamp the borders, not heat emboss, using some nice blue inks. I also flipped Anita's layout and settled for a stamped sentiment. My card is nowhere near as beautiful as Anitas artistic water color wonder but I do love the stamps I used! :) I hope you'd like to join us in CASEing Anita -just click here for the challenge post. There's plenty of DT inspiration for you... And this time Shona from Twine Around is our guest designer. I hope you'll visit her, Anita and our amazing team! Have a nice rest of the week!
Here's Anita's card, read about the details in Anita's blog My Papercraft World:

ReplyDeleteoh you have done a fabulous job with these stamps, far better than I could ever have done-they have found the right home. I love you flipped the lay out-we all followed the lay out except you...super creative and fab use of colours x

ReplyDeleteOh, Nonni ... what a fantastic CASE! Love that you flipped the layout ... those beautiful blue hues are gorgeous ... and what a fabulous art deco style border! Thank you so much! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteYou are a master at stamping borders, Nonni! Love how you CASEd Anita's card -- I can see how she's inspired you (her card is awesome!) and how you gave it your own twist.
ReplyDeleteYour translation of Anita's awesome card is equally as awesome in its own right, infused with your cas style, straight lines and pretty colours. So very pretty. The challenge over at Simply Create Too is monochromatic - I think your card would be eye-catching in the gallery...and they're having a DT call too (hint, hint...).
