Hi friends!
We have a new sketch challenge for you at STAMPlorations, here! It's a very versatile sketch and I chose to make a rather CAS version with plain stamping and no embellies. I tried to add embellishments -sequins, pearls, a button, a flower, twine, you name it -but didn't like any of them! This one will be very easy to mail if nothing else. :) The stamps I've used come from SENTIMENT BUILDERS: Happy and VIGNETTE: Chevron and Arrows. The always inspiring STAMPlorations Design Team has fab samples for you and I hope you check them out from the challenge post. We also have a talented guest designer, Debbie: she has created the most fun graduation card, do not miss it! Have a good week everyone and see you at STAMPlorations!
ps. If you played along in two other May challenges (the monthly challenge is still running!) , don't miss this one -you could win the May prize package!
I am also so impressed on how straight you can line up! Lordy mordy I am straight challenged :)
ReplyDeleteI confess... I use a pencil to draw some faint guidelines first... Then stamp... Then erase! ;)
DeleteI love this version of the sketch, so clever Nonni, wish I had tried to CAS it down more, so unhappy with mine! The different shaded of chevrons really looks amazing. You are so good at CAS!!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Nonni! Really awesome take on the fun sketch!! Have a great week! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLove how you followed the challenge just by stamps! Beautiful colours too! Hugs, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteLove how your creative mind works, Nonni ;) Fabulous CAS card.
ReplyDeleteCool contemporary CAS design that works for a card for a man or a woman, I like that about a card!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully stamped Nonni, love the shading on the pattern and the placement of the sentiment:)

Lovely CAS card, Nonni! The colors you picked for the arrows are beautiful! (Are they Memento? Cantaloupe? Can't tell what the peachy color is...but I like it!)
ReplyDeleteI decided to use some inks that I don't use so often so this card has Archival Chrome Yellow and Venetian Orange + Docrafts ARTISTE pigment ink "pink" -that's the peachy color. I bought 2 of those inks to try and they are actually great, give very good coverage with clear stamps.
DeleteCool card - love your CAS approach - and fab color combo!
ReplyDeleteTäydellinen!
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever, inspired take on the sketch, Nonni! The colours are lovely, the angled sentiment eye-catching, and those 'straight' rows of triangles (I agree with Vicki - how DO you do that! Mine would be all crooked and wavy!) are amazing! I'll need to give this sketch some thought...diagonals..gahhhh! Fabulous card!

Wow, Nonni, what a clever, inspired take on the sketch! The colours are wonderful, the angled sentiment is eye-catching and those oh-so-straight triangle rows (I'll echo Vicki - how DO you do that! My attempts at 'straight' stamping wind up wonky and wavy!) are amazing! Fabulous!! I need to think hard about what to create for this sketch...diagonals are a challenge! Hope you're having a great day!
