Time flies... Another fortnight has gone by and it's time for a new challenge at Inkspirational Challenges: a very fun inspiration photo! I had to settle for a quick-make this time but it ended up being a quite cute card. I created the background with neon colored washi tape and heat embossed the floral image with white powder on top of the washi -I wanted to experiment if this would work and it did -no fire or anything! ;) My starting points were obviously the neon colors but also friendship (those sheep look like a friendly bunch!) and nature. How will you interpret the photo, what will you create? I can't wait to find out! Join us in the fun at Inkspirational Challenges. I thought you had stamped these chevrons and was going to ask where you got that fab coloured ink!! I wouldn't have thought. The embossing would work on washi tape but you probed that wrong. I love the contrast of the soft flower against the neon tape and the sentiment is one of my favs x
ReplyDeleteLOVE!!!
ReplyDeleteOooh clever use of washi - like Sandie, I would never have thought to emboss over it , but it looks great.
ReplyDeleteGlad you didn't set fire to anything!! This looks great - so colourful, love it :)
ReplyDeleteLOL. No fire huh? Too funny Nonni. I just love the look of the neon tape mixed with the white embossing. Totally cute card. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteVery creative Nonni! Great use of washi tape and the white embossing looks amazing over top of the color.

Great card Nonni. I wouldn't have thought to try embossing over washi tape so now I know we can.....
