Hi friends in blogland,
time for a new Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge! We are having a holiday theme -can you guess I chose Easter? Yep, "Hyvää Pääsiäistä" is Finnish for "Happy Easter". :) Our sponsor is DeeDee's Digis and I used their adorable rooster as my focal point. I've colored in with Copics. I've been making many CAS cards lately so it was fun to go through my (huge...) pile of patterned papers and look for color inspiration from the papers for a change. I'm thinking I have to figure out some CAS ways to use designer paper -I love my papers but they are trickier to work with if you want to make a clean looking card! Anyways, this card is not CAS but it's not very busy either -just some pearls and a doily as embellies. :) I hope you'll now head on over to the challenge blog and check out the other DT projects -ATSM has such a wonderful design team! Happy crafting!
Hienon paperin oletkin löytänyt, ja kiva kokonaisuus kortissasi! Samoja ongelmia on mullakin papereiden kanssa, niitä on ihan tolkuttomasti. Pitää vissiin ruveta tekemään 9-kerroksisia kortteja tai jotain... =)
ReplyDeleteGreat to see a doily! Fab colouring and the gems you have chosen really match the eggs on the paper-how cool!
ReplyDeleteLoving that designer paper you have used, its Fabulous!! Gorgeous card too...

Hi Nonni, I like how your background paper goes so well with the beautifully coloured image. The doily with the pearls looks great! xxx
ReplyDeleteOh this is super - love the background paper and that image is just fab, beautifully coloured!
ReplyDeleteThat is one incredible word! Seems to me it'd be easier to just say Happy Easter ;) Love this non-typical Easter card.
ReplyDeleteThat patterned paper is PERFECT for your sweet creation, love it!
ReplyDeleteHi Nonni. Yet another great rooster card. Love the paper. Have a great day! hugs Monika xxx
ReplyDeletethat background paper nearly looks 3D! Amazing! Love your rooster xx
ReplyDeleteThat is great paper for an Easter card Nonni and I love your rooster placed on the doily. My patterned paper obsession is why I struggle with CAS cards sometimes. If anyone can find a way to make it work - I'm sure it will be you.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new challenge - Yahoo!! Can't wait to learn more. Hugs D
