Black And White at Addicted To Stamps And More
Moikka! Värihaasteen aika Addicted To Stamps And More haasteessa. :) Kortin kaunistus on stanssattu kiekura, jonka olen saanut joskus kortteiluringissä, on jäänyt silloisista askarteluista yli. Mitäs mieltä muuten olette, kun olen kuvannut korttini värillistä taustaa vasten? Onko häiritsevä vai ihan kiva? Sain idean täältä. Minusta toimii aika hyvin! Klikkaathan haasteblogin linkkiä, niin pääset tutustumaan lopun Design Teamin upeisiin tuotoksiin ja voit lukea osallistumisohjeet. Haasteen sponsorina toimii Bugaboo Stamps. Askartelun iloa!
Hi guys! It's time for a color challenge at Addicted To Stamps And More and as you can see from my card, it's black and white! I was first planning to add a golden ribbon to cheer it up a bit but I ended up destroying it in the process, so completely black and white it was then. :) I took the photo against a colored paper -what do you think, does it give a nice touch or should the background always be white? I got my idea from here. I quite like the look! Well, back to the challenge... My card is so simple this time that there's not much to say about it -the swirl is a gift from a stamping friend and the text stamp is WOJ's. I suggest you head over to the challenge blog to be amazed by the talent of the other DT ladies! There you will also find all the details of our challenge. Our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps. Happy crafting!

Hi Nonni. What a sweet image ... and I love the way you've framed it and the designer paper you've used. The black ribbon looks perfect to me ... and I love the simple one word "Amour" - perfect for your image.
ReplyDeleteI love the pop of color in the background for your photo ... it adds some punch and makes your black and white card stand out. I usually use white in the background if the card had lots of color. If my card is mostly white, then I try to pick up one of the colors in the card and use it for the backdrop. Because my blog has a black backdrop, I try to avoid having too dark a background for my pictures. Not sure if you want all that information ... or my opinion, but there it is :) Loll xx
Hi Nonni - I'm still smiling at that darling image! It would be a great scrapbook layout too if it were an actual photo. I like how the background helps showcase your card even more. Sometimes I like to use the patterned backgrounds and sometimes I go white - it really depends on my mood :o) In any event - thanks for the smile lovely lady - a TERRIFIC card!
