Less is More

For the Less Is More Challenge

Tässä korttini Less is More- haasteeseen, jossa aiheena oli suoraan korttipohjaan (one layer) tehtävä "rivissä" haaste. Tein kahdesta ääriviivatarra-ruususta pikkuisen rivini ja suttailin kolmella eri Distress Ink-sävyllä (myös korttipohjan reunat oli maskattu piiloon suttupapereiden avulla), lopuksi tarrojen pois kuorinta, tekstin leimaus ja kortti on valmis. :) Värit ovat luonnossa kirkkaammat ja pastellimmat. Aika sievä tuli minusta! Käännöksen jälkeen toinen samalla tekniikalla tehty kortti, jonka korttipohjan onnistuin sotkemaan ja jouduin leikkaamaan joulukellopaneelin irti-se ei siis kelpaa one layer-kortiksi, mutta on haasteen innoittama yhtä kaikki. :) Kiitos kun kävit katsomassa!

This is my card for this week's Less is More challenge. The challenge is to create a one layer card with a theme "in a row". I made my pair of roses-row with peel-offs and masked the center panel with some scrap papers. I sponged with 3 shades of Distress Inks, took the peel-offs and the paper masks off, stamped my greeting and voila! Ready. :) I made another card with the same technique (used a music background stamp too), with Christmas bells, but did not manage to keep it a one layer card: I messed up my card base with some ink and had to cut the row of bells out -only the roses card for the challenge then. :)  Thanks for looking!
