Bingo at Addicted to Stamps and More

Heippa!
Olen juuri palaillut kotimaisemiin ja heti onkin bingon aika Addicted to Stamps and More-haasteessa! Bingoilehan sinäkin, aikaa on ensi tiistaihin klo 15.59 (Suomen aikaa) saakka, nähdään!

Hi!
Time for a bingo at Addicted to Stamps and More! I chose b'day-stripes-white. Head over to the challenge blog to see the makes of the talented DT-team! My 12-years old nephew is celebrating his birthday next week and I can tell you it was a struggle to make a card for a guy aged like that... My stamps felt too childish and I didn't have any other suitable pictures -I decided to let the text (Congratulations) to be the focal point. I embossed it with white and this is actually my first embossed make! Or actually, I think it's version nr. 10 that made it to the card... In the beginning the embossing powder was all over my cardstock and the result was really messy. I then found some slippery and shiny cardstock and that worked fine. The stripes you can find in the top layer of patterned paper and that's mainly it for the card! :) I hope you want to play bingo as well, you have time until next Tuesday 12.59 pm GMT/ 11.59 pm AEST. See you!

  5. Voi kuinka hieno kortti. Tuo käyttämäsi tähtipaperi on hurmaavaa, minäkin olen sitä käyttänyt vähän vanhemmille poikaviikareille. Saanko antaa vinkin? ;) En tiedä mitä vastaat mutta annan vinkin kuitenkin :D Esim Paperinauha myy antistaattista tyynyä, joka auttaa siihen etteivät kohojauheen hiutaleet tartu mihin sattuu. http://www.paperinauha.fi/antistaattinen-tyyny-embossaukseen-p-1654.html

  7. Great card Nonni - I'm sure your nephew will love it. Well done on the embossing. A quick tip - get yourself an anti-static bag and wipe/pat it over the surface before you stamp & emboss and the embossing powder will only stick to your Versamark stamped image.....failing that put some talcum powder in a cotton bag, it works the same!

  8. Twelve is a hard age to make a card for. I think she will love this though! She'll especially like the love that went into making it!

  9. Its a wonderful card Nonni. I've found with my neices and nephews that it is less about what's actually on the card and more about how special it makes them feel to get a handmade card just for them. Hugs D
