Make Your Mark At Addicted To Stamps And More!

Tällä viikolla Addicted To Stamps And More haasteessa väritellään leimakuvia tai käytetään miten vain kyniä/tusseja/liituja! Tämä onkin yksi suosituimmista haasteistamme, itse värittelin DT-kortissani olevat Penny Blackin kukat Copiceilla. Korttipohja ja pinkki paperi on leimailtu -ympyräleimasin on tehty itse softiksesta ja päälle leimailin Gelatinsin pilkku-ympyräleimasimella. Tein kortin ystäväni tyttärelle, joka on taiteellinen, boheemi ja kaikin puolin hauska mimmi -koitin saada hänen luonteeseensa sopivan korttia aikaiseksi. :)  Sponsorinamme ATSM:ssa jatkaa  Whoopsi Daisy joten nyt kaikki joukolla osallistumaan! We had an amazing response to our Anything Goes Challenge at Addicted To Stamps And More, thanks so much all of you who participated! This week we have another popular theme: Make Your Mark  - Anything Goes as long as you use any markers, pencils, crayons or other coloring mediums in your project. In my DT card I used Copics to color my Penny Black flowers. The background and the pink paper are hand stamped with a home-made solid circle stamp (made out of foam) and Gelatins spotty circle stamp. The sentiment "Ylioppilaalle" is made with computer and means "For A Graduate" -this card goes to my colleague's daughter who is very artsy, modern, bohemian and fun -I had her in my mind while I tried to create something less traditional for her graduation card. Heippa kaverit! Löysin tässä eräänä päivänä minulle uuden haasteblogin Sami Stamps DT-kaverini Anatin kautta. Pagemaps- blogissa oli tarjolla luonnos sekä ohje tehdä itse leimasimia softiksesta. Tosi kiva idea! Tein ihan vain simppelin ympyräleimasimen, jolla leimailin nuo pinkit pallot, päälle leimailin sitten Gelatinsin ympyräleimaisimella ja "funky" taustapaperi oli valmis! Muffinssi on ilmainen Limited Runs digikuva, väritin sen Copiceilla ja lisäsin "taikinaan" Sticklesiä. Mukavaa sunnuntaita ja kiitos paljon vierailustasi! Haluaisitko muuten jättää blogiini askarteluvinkin ja osallistua sillä bloginamuuni? :)

Hello friends! I found a new challenge blog (well, new for me!) the other day through Anat who is my DT friend at Sami Stamps. The blog is called Pagemaps and it's for both scrappers and card makers. This time their challenge was to make your own stamps from foam + make a project with the layout provided. I cut a solid circle out of foam and stamped pink circles, then I used my Gelatins stamp with dotted circles on top for groovy patterned paper. I really like it! :) The cupcake, colored with Copics, is a freebie from Limited Runs. Hope you like! Have a fun day!

Värittelin suloisen Snuggle Bugs julkaisun keijukuvan tuttuun tapaan Copiceilla ja leimailin vähän tekstileimalla kuvan ympärille. Pikkuisen koristeluja ja kortti olikin sitten  siinä. Sami from Sami Stamps released new digis today! They are called "Snuggle Bugs" and you'll find them all here at Sami Stamps blog. There's also a new section for freebies, they are all amazing and you'll find them here! I colored the Protective Fairy image from the new release with Copics and did some stamping with a script stamp for framing. My card would also fit the Sami Stamps Monthly Challenge where the theme is ribbon/lace: the challenge is open for everyone and I hope you'll join us! The challenge can be found here. It seems ages ago that I had time to play along at Muse but this week's inspiration card by Marion Vagg inspired me for a "quick make" and I could participate, yay! Luckily, summer vacation is just around the corner, more crafty time ahead! :) Anyways, in my card I used a free digi from Just Some Lines and did my coloring with Copics and white gel pen. My layout is really similar to Marion's and I was happy to find a floral image from my files to create something similar she did! My colors are a bit more pastel-like -mainly because I don't have a very large collection of Copics yet. That's all from me now, have a great weekend and thanks for paying me a visit!

I just loved working with these images and I hope you'll like my card as much as I do! The quality in these images is awesome and they are really easy to print out and use. I punched some flowers and leaves for my embellishments, added a gold doily behind the image and finished the card with some ribbon and sentiment from WOJ. Aren't those babies just too cute to be true?!?

Here's my DT card for the new challenge at Addicted To Stamps And More. This week is an easy one for everyone: our theme is Anything Goes! Whoopsi Daisy is generously sponsoring the challenge offering our Top Addict 2 sheets of images -that's 8 digi stamps in total, wow! In my card I used an image from LOTV, I have a full booklet of these floral images, they are stunningly beautiful and you can create cards really fast with them. My May has been an extremely busy month so ready images come in handy at this kind of time! I followed a stepper card tutorial here. I will donate this card to "card raising" for lonely, elderly people -we are trying to collect over 1000 cards to bring joy for senior citizens who live in institutions and don't maybe get too many visitors. I thought happy yellow and beautiful flowers would work fine for the cause!

Sail Away At Tuesday Throwdown

Uuden Tuesday Throwdown haasteen aika! Teemana on kesäinen "Sail Away" eli peräänkuulutamme meri-aiheisia kortteja laivoineen, veneineen, merimiehineen ym... DT-inspiraatiota löytyy runsain mitoin hasasteblogista, klikkaa yllä olevaa linkkiä! Tämän viikon sponsori on Mygrafico ja kortissani komeileva paatti on heidän valikoimistaan. Olen viime aikoina tehnyt koristeellisempia kortteja ja taas vintagekorttejakin joten aika oli kypsä simppelimmälle designille. :) Käytin purjeisiin paper piecing-tekniikkaa ja leimasin Finnstamperin tervehdyksen kylkeen ja kulmapalojen ja leipurinnyörin lisäämisen jälkeen tämä pikku tervehdys olikin sitten valmis! Haasteblogista löydät kaikki tiedot osallistumista varten ja sitten ei muuta kuin hiiohoi, merellisiä kortteja kehiin!

Time for Tuesday Throwdown! Our theme is fun and summery "Sail Away" so think of all things nautical -sea, boats, sailors... You name it!  You'll find plenty of DT inspiration in the challenge blog so head on over there to have a look. Our sponsor is Mygrafico and the cute little sailboat I've used is from their collections. I paper pieced the sails and stamped my greeting by hand: "Kesäiloa" is Finnish and means "Summer Joy". It was fun to make a more CAS card for a change, I've been coloring a lot of images and making vintage cards/ quite embellished cards lately.
