Happy Birthday STAMPlorations girl Debra!
We are celebrating Debra's birthday at STAMPlorations with a wonderful array of cards here. I hope you'll check out all the fun cards we made for Debra... And if you don't know her, check out her blog: she is a very skillful colorer and makes the cutest cards with artsy, personal touch. Have a look!
In my card I've used several STAMPlorations stamps and I suggest you have a visit at the store here for having a look of all the great stamps available right now! I'm quite happy with the background but I'm so sorry Debra... The stamping on vellum didn't work out at all this time... I thought my ink would work well with vellum but no! So it's a mess... Don't touch it when you get the card (fashionably late by the way)... It's probably still wet! :) Some drops and pretty ribbon are trying to draw the attention away from the messy sentiment... Hee hee! Anyways, congrats again Debra and I hope you were spoiled today!
This is fabulous :) Love the way u combined the stamps to create this gorgeous BG !
ReplyDeleteThis is just gorgeous- I love the colours and the background looks amazing Nonni. Hey and I thought the vellum stamping looks great- Thankyou so very much for creating this card to celebrate my birthday, so sweet of you, xxx
ReplyDeleteThat background is amazing and I love the grounding colours. Where do you get those water drops from, I have seen a few people use them and love them?
ReplyDeleteTo make such a beautiful background is so clever! And the vellum? Try some clear EP and heatsetting...that's the only thing that works with some inks sometime I found out the same way you did... But the red is gorgeos on the card! Hugs, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely, Nonni...the background, the red sentiment...so pretty! I've had similar experiences with ink not 'sticking', so I've stamped over it with versamark, added embossing powder, blasted it with my heat gun and...hope for the best! It 'seems' to work...
